One of the most satisfying activities in life is opening a brand new vinyl record, splitting open the shrink-wrap along the open end, sliding out the inner sleeve while admiring the beautiful artwork or taking a sneak peek at the lyrics. Then, slowly sliding the vinyl out of the sleeve, the black wax shining like a polished leather shoe. Putting it on the turntable with Side A and then, yes then, letting the stylus slowly onto the first groove and surrounding yourself with the most beautiful sound of music. Bliss.
