Jungle - Jungle

Jungle’s self-titled debut from 2014 is a smooth mix of modern soul, funk and electronic pop, built around warm grooves, falsetto vocals and really sharp production. “Busy Earnin’”, “Time” and “Julia” are the obvious standouts, but the album holds together well from start to finish. There is a strong retro feel to it, but it never sounds like a copy of the past. Stylish, easy to enjoy and full of rhythm, this is a very solid debut with plenty of replay value.
