John Denver’s The Last Recordings brings together some of his best-known songs in new versions recorded in Nashville near the end of his life. “Take Me Home, Country Roads”, “Rocky Mountain High”, “Sunshine on My Shoulders” and “Leaving on a Jet Plane” are all here, but these are not simply the old masters again. The performances feel warm, relaxed and very personal. This limited Blue Seafoam Wave Vinyl edition is especially nice for collectors, with only 5,000 copies pressed.
