Collective Soul - Blender
Collective Soul’s Blender from 2000 is a polished mix of alternative rock, pop hooks and the big guitar sound the band does so well. “Why, Pt. 2”, “Perfect Day” and “Vent” are among the highlights, with Ed Roland keeping the songwriting direct and melodic throughout. It is a little slicker than some of their earlier albums, but there is still plenty of energy underneath it. A very solid turn-of-the-century rock album and an easy one to revisit.
