The Negotiator

"The Negotiator" is a movie where a skilled police hostage negotiator, Danny Roman (played by Samuel L. Jackson), is framed for the murder of his partner and embezzlement of funds from the police department, forcing him to take hostages himself to uncover the real culprits and prove his innocence, while engaging in a tense standoff with another expert negotiator, Chris Sabian (Kevin Spacey), brought in to handle the situation.
