Rammstein - Zeit (2LP - 45RPM)

Rammstein’s Zeit from 2022 is a darker and more reflective album than you might expect from a band famous for sheer spectacle. The huge guitars and industrial rhythms are still there, but songs like “Zeit”, “Zick Zack” and “Angst” add themes of ageing, mortality and the passing of time. There is plenty of heaviness, but also melody, humour and surprisingly restrained moments. Powerful, polished and unmistakably Rammstein, Zeit is a strong late-career record with real depth.
