Kraftwerk - Techno Pop (Clear vinyl, special edition)

Techno Pop is Kraftwerk’s 1986 album originally released as Electric Café, before the group later restored its intended title. By this stage the sound was cleaner, funkier and fully digital, with “Boing Boom Tschak”, “Musique Non Stop” and “The Telephone Call” showing how far ahead of everyone else they still were. This 2020 Parlophone reissue uses the 2009 remaster, pressed on 180g clear vinyl with a 16-page booklet. Perhaps not peak Kraftwerk, but still a fascinating and hugely influential record.
