John Denver - The Windstar Greatest Hits

John Denver’s The Windstar Greatest Hits brings together 11 of his best-known songs, re-recorded for his own Windstar label later in his career. You get favourites like “Take Me Home, Country Roads”, “Annie’s Song”, “Rocky Mountain High”, “Calypso” and “Sunshine on My Shoulders”, all delivered with that warm, easy-going style that made Denver so popular. It is a relaxed, very listenable collection and a nice way to revisit his songwriting outside the original RCA recordings.
