Geckøs - Geckøs (red transparent)

Geckøs brings together M. Ward, Giant Sand’s Howe Gelb and Irish musician McKowski (Mark McCausland) for a wonderfully loose, atmospheric collaboration. Sparked by an impromptu session around a friend’s wedding in Tucson, the project developed across the US, Ireland and England. The music blends dusty Southwestern Americana, indie folk, Spanish flavours and an appealingly strange, cinematic quality. Released in 2025, the album includes “Dance of the Gecko”, “El Techno”, “Wedding Waltz” and “River Song”, with John Parish mixing several tracks.
