Faye Webster - Underdressed At The Symphony

Faye Webster’s Underdressed at the Symphony from 2024 is a lovely mix of indie pop, soft rock and country-soul, with the relaxed, slightly offbeat feel that makes her music so easy to enjoy. “But Not Kiss”, “Lifetime” and “Lego Ring” are standouts, but this is really an album that works well from beginning to end. Webster never seems to try too hard, and that is part of the appeal. Warm, clever and quietly addictive, with plenty of repeat-listen value.
