David Gray - Nightjar (2LP)

David Gray’s Nightjar is a 2026 companion album to Life in Slow Motion, built from 19 previously unheard songs written and recorded during the same fertile mid-2000s period. Rather than feeling like a collection of leftovers, it moves between intimate folk songwriting, atmospheric electronics and more experimental arrangements, with “When I Fall in Love”, “The Easy Way Out” and the title track among the highlights. Warm, reflective and quietly adventurous, Nightjar adds fascinating depth to one of Gray’s most creative eras.
