Bruce Springsteen - Born In The USA

Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the U.S.A. from 1984 pairs huge, radio-ready production with some of his most sharply observed songwriting. “Dancing in the Dark”, “Glory Days”, “I’m on Fire” and the title track became global hits, but beneath the anthemic sound are songs about disappointment, working-class pressure and lives that did not turn out as planned. The E Street Band sounds powerful throughout, driving the album with synths, guitars and muscular rhythms. Accessible, bittersweet and enduring, it remains one of Springsteen’s defining records.
