Bay City Rollers - Once Upon A Star

Bay City Rollers’ Once Upon a Star from 1975 is bright, catchy pop made for singalongs, with big choruses, handclaps and that unmistakable mid-70s teen-pop sound. “Bye Bye Baby”, “Keep on Dancing” and “Marlina” are among the standouts, and the whole album has an easy, upbeat feel. It is very much of its time, but that is part of the fun. A cheerful, nostalgic listen and a nice one for collectors of classic 1970s pop.
