Avatar

James Cameron’s Avatar (2009) follows Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a former Marine sent to Pandora, where he finds himself torn between a human mining mission and the Na’vi people. Starring Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang, this science-fiction adventure mixes action, striking visual effects and an environmental theme without losing sight of its characters. One of the biggest cinema releases of its era, Avatar remains an entertaining film to revisit on DVD, especially if you enjoy immersive science fiction.
