Joy Ford - Keep On Truckin'... Keep On Lovin'

Joy Ford’s Keep On Truckin’… Keep On Lovin’ from 1977 is a proper country curiosity, released on the small Country International label. The album mixes covers and original material, with “Walking After Midnight”, “Misery Highway” and “My Heart’s an Open Book” among the highlights. Ford has a warm, straightforward country voice and the whole record has that independent 1970s Nashville feel. Not an album you see every day, and a nice find for collectors who enjoy digging beyond the obvious country names.
