Carpenters - Yesterday Once More

Carpenters’ Yesterday Once More is a lovely collection of the duo’s best-known songs, with Karen Carpenter’s warm, unmistakable voice at the centre of everything. “Close to You”, “Superstar”, “Rainy Days and Mondays” and “Yesterday Once More” are all here, along with plenty of softer favourites. Richard Carpenter’s arrangements keep the sound polished without losing the intimacy of the songs. Easy to listen to from start to finish, and a very good Carpenters collection to have on vinyl.
